We knew mobile and smartphones (particularly smartphones) are taking over the world; much faster than other connected devices like laptops, notebooks, ultra-notebooks, tablets. But didn't knew how fast they are growing.

Well, Benedict Evan has mentioned in his blog post: Mobile is eating the world (along with SlidShare presentation) with excellent data and charts.

Nokia is about to release its most ambitious mobile device (read mobile computer) in the market as Nokia N900. It is being powered by the Maemo 5 operating system.
